Editorial --------- What a fortnight. With more news, views, previews and reviews and stuff then you can shake a very large, very pointy stick at. What with E3 finally comming, and going, with many previews we all felt sorry for poor ole learner, stuck at home updating every 5 minutes. Now we come to a point in Greyscale's life where desisions have to be made. Up until now I, Aquarion, have writtian every part of Greyscale except the story and the letters, The problem is that all this ammounts to at the moment is the News and this Editorial. I have been asked if I would like some more people to work on GS with me, and I am very much inclined to say yes. The next question is more difficult, what would all the new writers do? And this is where you come in, I want you to suggest ways in which Greyscale could add to itself, Do you want coluoms? Interviews with Web-site owners? (Interviews with LHS I'm working on). And do you want us to include off-topic stuff as well. E-mail me, or visit the forum to discuss ideas, and who knows, in a fortnights time, a new look (again) Greyscale could be winging it's way to you. Question 2: Would anybody be interested in a HTML version of this newsletter? At the moment GS has 2 versions, the Plain Text version that gets delivered fortnightly, and the Super Whizzy Hyper Text Marked Up Web Page version which happens at Http://www.blacknwhite.net/grey/index.html about the same time. I am willing to make a 3rd version: A HTML version (without fancy Graphical titles) to be delivered instead of the Plain Text version. If you want it. The only reason you might not want it is that your mail client might not like it. It would take no longer to download than the normal one. The test to see if your E-Mail thingy likes HTML is this:

If This Text Appears In Very Big Letters

Then you have a HTML mail client. Hold on to this infomation, a GSX (that's Greyscale Extra - one of my periodical News Flash thingys) will be on its way soon to ask if you want the HTML version. Wow! The longest Editorial ever! Neato :-) News: ------ As far as the fan-sites go the biggest news this week was the departure from Land Of Eden (http://www.blacknwhite.net) of Shov. Storytime: ---------- The Story So Far: Bob, a humble woodcutter, has had his pet stolen by a Black Sourcerer. But for what purpose? Because Bobo was a loyal and a faithful friend, Bob went searching for his dog. He asked all villagers where it could be, but nobody knew... until a child - it couldn't be more then 8 - came running towards him. The boy, clearly still astonished, said he had seen everything from his hiding place against the storm: "(...) and then there was a VERY BIG hand", while trying to show with his arms," probably God's, coming out of the black clouds, lifting your roof, like it didn't weigh a thing, and then taking the terrified Bobo!" The boy continued: "Now why would He take your dog? Did Bobo do something wrong?" After Bob said:" No, my dog wouldn't do anything wrong", he thanked the kid and went to the village elder. Everyone went to Wilbur when they had a problem... Bob asked about information about giants. The elder slowly stood up and silently pointed at a bookshelf that might help him out. Hours later, he found a short article about a giant hand terrorizing a tribe. The story clearly showed great similarities with the boy's story... While memorizing the story, he took a look at the title of the book: "Titanic Tales". He showed Wilbur the book. Wilbur's face showed great curiosity and said: "Let me see that..." THE END... So Far... What would a Black Sourcerer want with BoBo? Answers on a postcard please... Well done to Jelle Spruyt for that entry.
