Peter Molyux (sp), What a guy. Having founded Bullfrog, released Populous's I & II (III's here, and got very good reviews) Theme Park & Hospital, The Syndicate Games, and Lastly Dungeon Keeper. He sold Bullfrog to Electronic Arts and left.

He formed Lionhead, the worlds only game's company named after a dead hampster (I'm not joking) and they started work of a game that is (will be) genre busting. Black and White

A Village in Eden

How to explain B&W. You are a magician, you come across this land called, in a suitably Biblical style, Eden. To get energy to make spells people have to worship you. If you are nice and kind - blessing the crops for example - they will love you and will be sweetness and light in your presence.

If you are mean and nasty to your chosen then they will worship you out of fear. All this is reflected in your Citadel, If your are "White", then you will get a fairytale castle of Disneyan proportions. If you are "Black" then your Citadel becomes dark and menacing.

And that's it. Well, not it precisely, but as close as you will get from this page. I have not even begun to explain things like the Titans and the GRT interface. My advice is that you explore the fantastic Shock-Wave official site above and also the Fan site for more info.
